Restoring the library to your iSeries

LaserVault Backup consists of a PC server program and an iSeries library. One way you can install the iSeries library is by using the ftp client (not server) on your iSeries to retrieve the save file of the library from this site.

Here are complete instructions for restoring the Laservault library to your iSeries host, through FTP.

Enter the boldfaced text on your workstation or terminal emulation session. You can copy and paste from this document into your emulation session to perform the commands. Press the Enter key after each entry.

Explanatory notes are (in parentheses).

CRTSAVF QTEMP/MYTEST

Enter password:

Enter an FTP subcommand.

(notice that the replace command has a single left parenthesis before the ‘r’)

226 File sent ok.

890208 bytes transferred in 1.473 seconds. Transfer rate 604.491 KB/sec.

Enter an FTP subcommand.

===> quit

(now you will be back at the command line entry)
